Cologne (Koln), Germany

Hey all! I went to Cologne this past weekend with some of the other interns. It was beautiful! We went to the Lindt chocolate factory and stayed at the Black Sheep Hostile. We walked everywhere so it was nice to see all of the city. We ate at some delicious restaurants and had some delicious beer! It seems that every town brews their own beer, which is awesome! Right at the train station there is an old Catholic church located right outside that is BEAUTIFUL! I took so many pictures of it!
Things at the Child Development Center are great! I am always super exhausted at the end of the day but the kids are great and so are those that I work with. I love it an look forward to the weekends to travel! We aren't sure where we are going this weekend but they have USO trips and there is one to Brugge, Belgium this weekend and we are going to look into that!
Here are some pictures from this past weekend!
The church right outside the train station!
 Love it!

 The inside was amazing!!

Man's best friend?!? This just about broke my heart!

 Oh how I love schnitzel!
 YUM!
 Lindt chocolate factory!!

 This chocolate was absolutely amazing!

Sitting outside on the porch drinking a mint hot chocolate=WIN!!
The Black Sheep Hostile! (Excuse the mess, this was in the morning while we were packing up!)

This was hilarious to me for some reason!
 I just loved this church!!

 3-D art anyone?!?
 The interrogation museum from WWII

This is the size of all the cells. I read that they would have more than 15 people in these tiny cells!

Our delicious Flammkuchen. Kind of like pizza. Mine had tomato sauce, parm cheese, and garlic! AMAZING!!

I hope everyone enjoyed my pictures! There will be more on Facebook soon (If I can get them to upload!)

  1. It all looks amazing. I am so glad you got internet and can post more often (hint hint). The picture of the person with the dog just about made me cry.
